Why I Became a Realtor (and What Best Life Means to Me)

Before I ever sold a home, I was working in property management out in California. One day, I was asked to help someone relocating from out of state find a rental in Santa Monica. We spent the whole day looking at places, and even though my job technically ended there, I stuck with him through signing the lease.

A few days later, he sent me a thank you card in the mail. Nothing fancy—just a simple note telling me how much he appreciated my time and how I made the process easier.

That card meant more than he probably knew. It was the moment I realized: I want to do this full time. This was back in 2008!

Helping people through big life transitions, taking the stress out of a move, making someone feel supported and confident—that’s what drives me. That’s what led me to real estate.
